Match the repair to the tooth

An exam helps distinguish a cosmetic chip from decay or a larger structural problem. Bonding or a composite filling may be one option.

Plan for care

Ask how long the restoration may last, whether it can stain or chip, and when a different restoration would be more appropriate.

Before deciding

The office will confirm the treating clinician and any specialist referrals for your individual plan.
